A technical product leader writing developer-first software for the payments stack.
For more than a decade I’ve worked at the intersection of financial technology and developer tooling, helping companies build and scale the payment infrastructure that quietly moves billions of dollars. The through-line is the same everywhere: the interface someone else has to build against is the product.
areas of expertise
-
01
Payment systems
Designing scalable payment processing infrastructure with reliability, security, and compliance as first-class concerns.
-
02
Developer platforms
Building APIs and SDKs that prioritize developer experience: clear contracts, honest errors, and short paths to first success.
-
03
Product leadership
Translating complex financial capabilities into developer platforms that drive adoption and durable revenue.
-
04
Technical leadership
Leading engineering teams, setting architecture direction, and bridging business strategy with implementation.
I also run a small web presence practice for local business owners, which is where most of what I know about being found gets tested against someone else’s revenue.
currently
Building, advising, and writing about developer-first payment products. Most days that means thinking about API ergonomics, integration journeys, and what it takes to make complex financial primitives feel inevitable to the engineers using them.
On the side I build tools in the open. Two recent ones are Loop & Gate, an agentic build system, and Hermes Dispatch, a local-first agent dispatcher. I’m using that same Loop & Gate workflow to build LeadSurface, with a few older projects collected in Work.
I keep a small but steady stream of writing in Articles and notes from talks in Speaking.

let's talk
Open to conversations on payments, platforms, product, and local web presence.
I enjoy comparing notes with operators building serious developer products. The best place to start a conversation is LinkedIn.
